Limit front end code to only show the first repeater field?

I've set up a repeater field that I want the client to be able to put unlimited images in so I don't want to set a row limit.

In the code I then only want to show the first image, how would I do that?

This will allow them to upload all their images then by dragging the chosen image to the top it would show on the website.
