This is a nightmare scenario for me, as the issue did not occur straight away and is now pushing back deadlines. I'm using ACF w/ Repeater Fields.
For all users, logged in and not logged in, ACF is causing massive slow down on general site loading and in the admin interface. Especially when loading pages which use ACF's.
I'm only using 5 custom field types, 3 of these are repeater fields. I'm using W3 Total Cache, and the home page comes in at under 240kb. The main issue seems to stem from the database requests, with it also suffering 'Error establishing DB Connection'. The issue delays the display of the entire site, causing reloads to take anywhere from 10 - 30 seconds to fully complete.
When I disable ACF, all issues are resolved.
Any help much appreciated.
